KEY MARKET INDICATORS SEPTEMBER 2023 (AUGUST RECAP)
Historically, September 1st is the high point of unsold inventory, defined as homes that have yet to go under contract. Over the fall and winter markets, the unsold inventory typically decreases, reaching a low point on January 1st. Economists forecast that home mortgage interest rates will drop into the 6’s as we head into 2024.
